Rapid Response

WAISN has organized teams of rapid response volunteers across the state to support our neighbors and friends in the event of an ICE raid or related community emergency. We are seeking people from a range of communities to be available to physically go to verified incidents to bear witness and support those targeted. We will provide training and support. Incident notification happens via text messages. Contact us if you have questions or would like to volunteer.

Lead Volunteers – Briana Brannan and Veronique Facchinell

Tech Team

Volunteers are regularly needed with expertise in mobile app, software (for the hotline), text messaging, website, and other tech projects. Contact us if you have questions or would like to volunteer.

Communications

While many of the member organizations create their own materials, some items such as the rapid response postcard are created by WAISN volunteers. Please let us know if you are an experienced content creator, editor, localization manager, or designer. Contact us if you have questions or would like to volunteer.

We welcome individuals and member organizations to join any of the committees listed below. These committees work together on specific tasks within their field of expertise or interest. Email us at info@waisn.org to join a committee.
